Janette Auguar is a native of Columbia, South Carolina where she graduated from South Carolina State University with a B.A. in Professional Theatre and Communications. She has enjoyed being a Radio Disc Jockey and working in media for over 25 years. Her career started in South Carolina at WDIX and WQKI radio stations. She currently produces and hosts an internet radio show, “A Spiritual Connection” on the Real Urban Radio Network www.realurbanradio.com providing a platform for interviews and testimonies so that others may hear, be blessed and overcome their own trials at
A Spiritual Connection http://www.aspiritualconnection.tv has been featured on cable television for over fifteen years and has also been featured in print in Gospel International Magazine where she featured the likes of Reverend Norman Hutchins, Chris Bolton, and the entire Gospel Music Workshop of America conference.
As a faithful Believer she has served as Anchor of a weekly church video news program. She was also responsible for Public Relations for the Women’s Ministry. Janette established her non-profit organization Diamond Eagle, Inc because she felt a responsibility to respond to our community with inspiration, insight, and instruction for the challenging issues plaguing our society. Scripture declares, "We overcome by the blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimonies" (Rev.12:11)
Janette is a mother of two, a grandmother of two and a Daddy’s girl who loves the Lord with all of her heart. She uses every experience God has entrusted her with to glorify Him as a living witness of His grace, mercy, and power.
Janette released her spoken word CD, “Born”, which poetically articulates her journey in a unique way. Her book “The Grace to Walk Away” is soon to be released which will tell of many of her spiritual connections and how God brought her through.
She is a Sales Manager in Corporate America with Services Corporation International where she oversees a team of counselors who meets with families who have had a loss with heavy concentration on preparedness to empower generations to leave an inheritance as opposed to debt. She has earned numerous awards including Family Service Counselor of the Year and Sales Manager of the Year. She was also among 10 of 500 people chosen to attend ‘HiPo Training” where she is considered a “High Potential” candidate in the company.
Janette enjoys theatre and she has appeared in numerous productions including Brandi Burks Kesselman’s productions of “Under The Freeway” and “As Quite As Kept”. She is a member of Whitefire Theatre Company in Sherman Oaks, Ca and a member of SAG/AFTRA.
As God continues to do great things Janette believes, without question, that the best is yet to come.
